Bule High School
Bule High School, Bule, Ethiopia
Bule is one of the districts in the SNNP Region named after its major town, Bule. The district has a population of 109,000 of which 95% are rural dwellers subsisting on coffee and edible crops.
The Costa Foundation funded a new high school in 2017 which opened with our normal high school facilities of 8 fully furnished classrooms, a library, sanitation and water plus the usual school clubs focusing on gender equality, environment, health, sports and public speaking for girls.
Due to the civil unrest in Ethiopia the school sat dormant for a period of time but was opened for lessons in September 2018. It has not yet been formally inaugurated by the Costa Foundation but this is due in the early summer of 2019.
