Churso High School

Churso High School, Gedeo, Ethiopia

Situated 420km south of Addis Ababa in Churso Mazoria Parish in the Gedeo Zone of SNNP, Churso High School is a typical Ethiopian Costa Foundation high school model consisting of 8 fully furnished classrooms, a library, sanitation and water plus the usual school clubs focusing on gender equality, environment, health, sports and public speaking for girls.

The school began to educate children in September 2017 and was officially inaugurated by the Costa Foundation in October 2018. The celebration from the community was extraordinary and it was humbling to see how grateful everyone was for the gift of education.

Thanks to you we've built over 600 classrooms in 10 countries giving
