  • PARAISO DE CHANGUENA SCHOOL

    Work started in January 2009 at the Costa Foundation’s first Costa Rican project which is situated on the outskirts of an Indian reservation and provides classrooms and computers for the tribe's children.

  • KEREDA HIGH SCHOOL

    From day one of opening its doors, 960 students enrolled in this new high school in Kereda community which is situated 497 kms south of Addis Ababa in the Amaro District of Segen Area People’s Zone.

    This was a new concept to the Costa Foundation as the IHER Education Centre is what is referred to in Honduras as “an informal school”. This is a school built specifically for children that are unable to attend lessons during the week due to family commitments such as having to work on the farms or other businesses to support their families.
